About Me
Hi, I’m Maya, the mum and founder behind Little Love Baby Sensory
Becoming a mum, especially when you’re the first in your friendship group, can feel unexpectedly isolating. While life around you carries on as normal, yours is beautifully, but completely reshaped. Your world suddenly revolves around naps, feeds, routines, and pouring every piece of yourself into the tiny life you’ve just created.
Meet-ups for coffee aren’t quite the same anymore, even when you plan them perfectly around naps… because babies, as we know, are wonderfully unpredictable. And don’t get me wrong, I love our nature walks but there’s only so many you can go on to break up your day before you start craving something more…
And while having a big, loving, and supportive family is such a gift, there’s something powerful about connecting with other parents in the same season, asking the same questions and navigating the same emotions.
After attending a few underwhelming sensory classes with my own baby, where age ranges were broad, activities weren’t tailored, and there was little space for real connection, I knew there had to be more. Something intentional. Something nurturing. Something that supported both baby development and maternal connection.
With a background in early years development and hospital play therapy, I’m deeply passionate about how babies learn through play and how powerful it is when mums feel confident, seen, and supported. Little Love Baby Sensory was created to be more than just a class-it’s a safe space to learn, bond, and connect.
Sometimes we just need a place to come together. I truly hope Little Love Baby Sensory can be that place for you and your little love.
With love,
Maya

FAQ
Got Questions?
Find answers to the most common questions about classes, bundles, and more.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
Just yourself and your baby. We recommend bringing milk and nappies as you normally would, and you’re always welcome to feed, change, or comfort your baby whenever they need. For hygiene reasons, please bring socks for both you and your baby, as outdoor shoes are not worn on the mats. You may also wish to bring a small blanket or muslin for extra comfort on top of the mats.
What if my baby cries, sleeps, or needs feeding during the class?
What if we miss a class due to illness or a bad night?
Will my baby benefit even if they’re very young?
Can I switch which parent/caregiver attends each week?
Can siblings join in the class?
How many people can accompany one child?
What’s the difference between stay & play and baby sensory classes?
Are the classes suitable for twins or triplets?
Is there space for feeding and changing?
What if my baby doesn’t stay on their mat and starts to crawl around?
